BikeKeeper – We Know Quality
Warranty
We have an unheard of in the industry, 10-year warranty. Most companies may offer a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing mistakes. That’s really no warranty at all.
The Real Deal for Protection – Powder Coating
Traditional bike racks are said to be” galvanized” or painted. But are they really? To really protect the product, it must be truly galvanized, that means providing a third material under the zink. The painting must occur only after the product is hot-dip galvanized and then sand blasted, now the painting can protect the zink surface. Nobody in the USA does this – we do.
The high-quality powder coating finishes the product and provides it with a durable outer surface.
Fully Galvanized
Our products are hot-dip galvanized inside and outside, and then powder painted. Traditional bike racks are not properly hot-dip galvanized. This is an entire process, but one that’s required to make the rack durable and to be able to last. There are several different actions that must be done before it’s dipped into zink. But the most important process, the one that makes BikeKeeper racks truly unique is that we’re hot-dip galvanized both inside and out, unlike our competitors with their traditional bike racks.
The fully galvanized structure has a long-life cycle, even in our harsh Nordic conditions. It’s also why we can offer an amazing 10-Year Warranty!
Thick-Walled Steel Beam
Our products are made from pure hard steel. The heavy-duty BikeKeeper frames will not succumb to dents that traditional bike racks endure by everyday use, working machines, the weight of wet snow or vandalism.
Usually traditional bike racks use a “soft” steel that can’t be hard because of additives like coal, that make the material less expensive. The additives make it impossible to properly galvanized because it’s not made of pure, hard steel.
The only way you can properly galvanizing steel is by using pure, hard steel, like we do. It’s the only process that makes chemical reaction happen.
UV-resistant, shock-resistant polycarbonate
Our covered products feature a clear polycarbonate sheet which is lighter and more durable than glass, designed specifically for outdoor use. In addition to the basic clear polycarbonate option, customers can choose metal options in smoke, bronze and frosted glass.
Guidance labels are a user-led entity
Guidance labels placed on the racks and in their vicinity encourage users to store their bicycles in a way that not only optimizes security, but the use of space as well. When the notice labels are placed on the door of the equipment storage areas it helps prevent break-ins in advance.
Tips on How to Correctly Place Your BikeKeeper to Ensure Optimal Functionality
